He was a key player for the mid 90's so called Super Depor. An elegant, classy sweeper, with an outstanding abilitie to take the ball from the back by himself and join the attackers, he made it look so easy, he was a true leader on and off the pitch with a really high mentality, sacrifice for the team and an example for a clean defender, also a rock-solid pair of legs who barely got hurt. Altough Djukic was a master taking penalties, he missed one of the most crucial in La Liga history, against Valencia, the one that could have given Depor it's first Liga trophie, in the last game, last minute, too much drama for one mind. However, a poll was made years after and the results were clear: ''Super Depor best defender...Sir Miroslav Djukic'': Extra Links *Djukic Wikipedia Profile (Eng) *Djukic's Wikipedia Profile (Esp) Enjoy! _________________ Our ancestors created fire...it changed humanity.
