From the beginning he showed that he would be the right man for the left winger position. During his 4,5 year stay at Partizan he has played 252 games in a row, including friendlies (from his total of 261 games) and scored 89 goals. Pirmajer was excellent technical player, with very good passing and scoring ability. He got his nickname, ''Ballerina in football shoes'', because of his elegant style of playing. Pirmajer was a player with decent stamina and commitment on the field (but he wasn't super worker on the field like Vasović or Jusufi). His play was based on his fine technique, long passes and his rather good reading of the game (positioning both in attacking and defensive tasks). Although he played as outside-right, he had more withdrawn position on the field because Galić, as an inside-right, was covering almost the whole left side in the attack. Because of that Pirmajer was mostly used for passing from the side or for dribbling runs to the middle and he also had more defensive duties then a classic outside-rights.
