Annovazzi was a true halfback, being able to adapt easily to the tactics of the era. He was effective down the flanks but was also brilliant at nullifying the opposition down the center. Annovazzi also possessed a lethal right foot, enabling him to score many goals. Funnily, Annovazzi grew up as a big fan of Inter, dreaming to play for them but they decided to let him go after a trial. Seeking revenge, he offered himself to Milan where he was able to reach the heights of football, playing with Gre-No-Li and entering in Milan’s history. He also represented the Italian national side at the 1950 FIFA World Cup.
