jez Name : William Henry ''Fatty'' Foulke (also spelt Foulk or Foulkes) William FOULKE | 1897-1899 Club: Sheffield United Number: 1 Positions: GK* Nationality: English Age: (12 April 1874) Foot: R Side: B Height: 193 Weight: 133-150! (I advise just putting it to the maximum that PES will allow. I can't think what that is off-hand) Attack: 49 Defence:81 Balance: 99 Stamina: 65 Top Speed: 45 Acceleration:40 Response: 84 Agility: 74 Dribble Accuracy: 50 Dribble Speed: 53 Short Pass Accuracy: 55 Short Pass Speed: 64 Long Pass Acc.: 62 Long Pass Speed: 67 Shot Accuracy: 42 Shot Power: 90 Shot Technique: 48 Free Kick Accuracy: 60 Curling: 44 Header: 40 Jump: 74 Technique: 50 Aggression: 70 Mentality: 95 Keeper Skills: 85 Team Work: 90 Injury Tolerance: B Condition/Fitness: 6 Weak Foot Accuracy: 4 Weak Foot frequency: 4 Consistency: 6 SPECIAL ABILITIES: *Penalty Stopper *D-Line Control(?) TRIVIA: The football chant ''Who Ate All the Pies?'' is said to have originally been about Foulke First post on here in donkeys and the first set of stats I've done in even longer. Ok so I'm going to be a tad rusty but then again I've never attempted goalkeeper stats either. This one is open for discussion. I've done these obviosly based on a lot of reading up on the internet and I've given reasons for some stats below. SUGGESTIONS VERY VERY WELCOME! Attack: 49 - ''...was also known to charge upfield to the opposing penalty spot...'' Defence: 81 - not sure about this... Balance: 99 - need I explain? TS/ACC: 45/40 - he can't have been very fast, could be lower? Response: 79 - Wasnt sure about this value as obviously being such a fat bastard, he filled most of the goal, so wether many of his saves came from quick reflexes is debatable, although he was an expert penalty saver... Agility: 74 - ...that said, ''...Although a big man, Foulke was surprisingly agile...'' 74 is a low value for a keeper yes, but a high one maybe when you consider the circumstances of the player... Jump: 74 - low, but what would you expect? Aggresion: 70 - this is based, like attack, on his charges to the opposition penalty area, however wether this value will make him too prone to coming out when confronted with one on one situations and corners etc i'm not sure... Mentality: 95 - mentality in a keeper I'm slightly rusty on, but based on what i have read he sounds like a roy keane in goal. As well as captaining chelsea later in his career he comes across as being aggressive, commanding, a leader, if not slightly thuggish at times; #NAME? #NAME? #NAME? -if he thought his defenders were not trying hard enough, he would walk off the field #NAME? Keeper Skills: 85 - started his sporting career as a cricketer so should have been very able to keep hold of a ball *Penalty Stopper - ''...He was also expert at saving penalties...'', ''...During a match with Burton Albion FC, he stopped two penalties, and the forward who missed the penalties is said to have complained, 'Where else could I have placed the kicks. There was nowhere else to aim!'...'' Hopefully these stats won't be removed straight away but I'll understand if they are for being too inaccurate or whatever. ANY opinions on ANY of the figures are more than welcome though! I've probably over-rated him _________________ I was disappointed it wasn't reported that I said Rio Ferdinand was the best defender in the world.
