He was very creative, could start an attacking play very easly but he was also built like a marathon runner, fragile but with a formidable engine. He was strong in the counter strike and supporting attackers. While at benfica he neted 40 goals in 219 games of wich he played 76 as a right CMF . He was also an excelent free kick taker, especially at close range, and he's the 4th best Benfica deadball specialist ever.
