It was amazing how he played when you realised he was 75% alcohol. Tony Adams was a phenomenal defender and the only modern day comparable is John Terry. He won 66 caps for England and was a key member of the famous back four. He played that style of game that you don't see in football anymore, he was incredibly vocal, gritty, good with his head and had a never-say-die attitude. Absolutely marvellous.
