Thorbjørn Svenssen (born 22 April 1924) is a former football player from Norway. Throughout his career he was a central defender, playing for Sandefjord Ballklubb. He is best remembered for appearing 104 times for the Norway national football team, where he played between 1947-1962. To this date, no other Norwegian has achieved more caps. Svenssen was in fact only the second player in the world to reach 100 international appearances. The first was Billy Wright.
