Futbolizados family, his father played in Santiago Morning and his older brother in the Calera Union, was formed in the lower divisions of University of Chile, which was fourteen years old. Of strong punch with his left foot and elegant technique, it marked a football idol despite his team ever, the Universidad de Chile, faced a drought of 25 years without winning a National Championship in Chile. He started playing as a midfielder liaison containment also playing during his time in Mexico. But surely he is remembered for his great skill by the band as a left pointer exception and a great goalscorer. Debut in 1977 by Universidad de Chile as a professional with 17 years of playing against Green Cross of Temuco. In August 1986 he traveled to Mexico, where the Blue Cross card and then play for Tampico Madero. In 1989 he returned to Chile, arrived on Deportes La Serena for a short period of 6 months. Then, in 1989 returns to la U, where he remained until 1993. He ends his career at Rangers de Talca in 1994.
