Quite simply, Yashin was a cut above the rest, and probably still is. However, Yashin had a slight weakness; corners. Although he could jump insanely high, Yashin was a little weak (I say a little because he was still pretty hard, but...) against bigger strikers, and also occasionally misjudged corners too; he conceded a particularly comical goal against Columbia: When the corner was taken, Yasin proceeded to dive out into a big crowd of players. Sadly for Yashin, the ball was nowhere near this crowd of players and simply floated into the net. Despite people thinking hewas past the post when this happened, he simply went and won the Ballon D'or, and is still the only goalie to have done so. Yashin is said to have saved over 150 penalties in his career; it is confirmed that he saved at least 150, but the official figure is unknown. A Truly god-like keeper, and he still sets the standard today for althleticism, reading of the game, and of course loyalty too; he played for Dynamo Moscow all through his career.
