His regular position was at wing half. He was one of the original Busby Babes. Whitefoot started his professional career with Manchester United in 1949. In eight seasons at United, Whitefoot made 95 appearances, and was a member of the 1952 and 1956 title-winning sides. He left the club for Grimsby Town in 1957, before moving to Nottingham Forest a year later where he won the FA Cup in 1959. Whitefoot was a controlled, skillful player who could pass with both feet and could put his foot in, he lost his place to Eddie Colman and many were dissapointed he did not stay to fight for his place. He was seen as the babe who got away. Jeff WHITEFOOT | 1952-1956 | PES Stats Database (Golden Era Backup)
