He still holds the record as the highest goalscorer in the history of the Hungarian League. He was one the greatest footballers in the World during the first era of football in 1910s, who won the highest top scorer in League around the World in consecutive four times. In the era before the World War II, he was the best record scorer. He was noted for his aggressive, shot accuracy and off the ball. His consistency performance led him to be caps 68 games that is no player in his era close to him with this. He also holds all-time record most winning league title in European competition with 13. Schlosser fist retired from his career at age of 23 year olds while he was still a prolific scorer but he decided backing to play again in next three years, and not the same as his prime anymore. He finally formal retired in his 39 year olds. Schlosser made his debut for Hungary on October 7 1906, aged 16 years, 256 days, in a 4-4 draw with Bohemia. In a national team career that would last more than 20 years, Schlosser played 68 times for Hungary (the team won 70% of the games in which they fielded Schlosser), and scored 59 goals, a ratio of 0.87 goals per match. In his club career, Schlosser reportedly scored 417 league goals, a number believed to be the sixth highest of all-time.
