He was a quick, technically gifted striker, who scored some highly impressive goals due to his immense athleticism. He had a powerful, accurate shot, which saw him hit 122 goals in 219 appearances for the club. He also scored 85 goals in 164 appearances for Juventus between 1934 and 1941. He is one of only two players to have won the Scudetto with both Juventus and Torino. Jockingly his nickname was ''The Saint Rita of goalscorer,'' as his goals were so difficult to achieve, a bit 'like the miracles attributed to Saint. He is currently ranked 9th in a list of the top Serie A goalscorers of all time. _________________ Alan Hansen wrote: How come Liverpool games are on last at the moment?
