Emil Kostadinov was one of the fastest forwards that passed by FC Porto and the Portuguese football. Even today his name causes chills to the fans of rival clubs, especially Benfica and Sporting, who could not hide an undisguised fear each time the Bulgarian forward visited Alvalade or Luz. During his career, there were 3 clubs that marked him: CSKA Sofia, FC Porto and Bayern Munich. Despite its potential to allow that sometimes played alone in attack up front (Carlos Alberto Silva and Tomislav IVIC, for example, came to use it several times), was thanks to the partnerships he was able to make that enhanced his great talent. Featuring 3 of the mentioned partnerships: with Hristo Stoichkov, at CSKA of Sofia and in Bulgaria, with Domingos in FC Porto, and with Jürgen Klinsmann, in Bayern Munich. Kostadinov completed all his training in the youth of CSKA Sofia, where at the end of the 80s, formed with Hristo Stoichkov a double that helped conquer CSKA a 3 times champion titles of Bulgaria. It is curious that the two players left Bulgaria in the summer of 1990, Kostadinov to play at FC Porto and Stoichkov to play in Barcelona. At the time he came to FC Porto in 1990/91, he began to be used as right winger. Artur Jorge in his last season as coach of FC Porto, began by experimenting with an attack Madjer, Domingos and Stephane Paille, and only later, providing the departure of Madjer at the end of the season, tried an attack with Domingos and Kostadinov. In good time he did it because the two quickly became one of the strongest partnerships ever in the history of FC Porto. A partnership that marked an epoch in Portuguese football. Kostadinov remained in Antas for 4 and a half seasons before being loaned for 6 months of the Deportivo La Coruña. The middle of the 1994/95 season would carry out the contract of his life signing for the historic Bayern Munich. The Bulgarian left FC Porto in the season 1994/95 when it had already started, but still managed time to leave his mark on the 1st day of the national championship scoring the second goal of the victory of FC Porto over Braga in the Estádio das Antas . Meaning, he was the author of the 2nd goal of the Pentacampeonato. After the ''society'' with Domingos terminated, he quickly found another accomplice in the attack of Bayern Munich, the german Jürgen Klinsmann. _________________ ''My heart only has one colour: Blue and White!!
