Dwight Yorke was brought over to the UK by Graham Taylor to play for Aston Villa. He played under Ron Atkinson and John Gregory before leaving Villa Park for Manchester United under a considerable goal record. In his first three seasons, Yorke was a key player in guiding utd to three successive Premiership titles including the treble of the Premiership title, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League, at the same time forming a Deadly attacking partnership with Andy Cole. They both complimented each other really well as they were very similar players. Both had great positional sense at reading crosses and finishing one on one chances. Cole probably had the slight advantage in finishing and strength wise but Yorke was slightly quicker, the better dribbler, better ariel threat (brilliant in the air for his size ) and was great at linking up with other players . http://www.youtube.com/v/JYLEAt27ndg Cole and Yorke Combine. _________________ Alan Hansen wrote: How come Liverpool games are on last at the moment?
