In his playing days he formed part of the ''Holy Trinity'' with Alan Ball and Howard Kendall. Harvey was a classy player with sublime skills which earned him the nickname the ''White Pele''. He won the FA Cup in 1966, was runner up in 1968 and won the League Title with Everton's great team of 1969/1970. Harvey possesed a range of passing mostly crisp accurate passes which skimmed across the grass to winger Johnny Morrisey, he could also put his ''foot in'' and was no angel. Many consider him the best of the Trinity and he was considered unlucky not to be capped by England many more than his one appearance. Very much seen as the Scholes to Alan Ball's Beckham. Both great players but Ball got the limelight. Colin HARVEY | 1966-1970 | PES Stats Database (Golden Era Backup)
