He came to Partizan in 1951 and stayed there until the end of his career. During his career he has played 463 games and scored 41 goals. In national team, he has played 25 games, and he participated in 1954 FIFA World Cup. Belin's best characteristics were coolness, speed and technique. He was always able to cause confusion in opposition defence with his dribbling and good passes. He was also very effective in defensive tasks. Many consider him as one of the 3 greatest Yugoslavian full-backs (usually behind Fahrudin Jusufi and Branko Stanković). When Jusufi came to Partizan's senior team, Belin was still active player, and Jusufi could learn a lot from him. After retiring as a player, Belin became coach in Partizan's junior squad. Unfortunately, he died in car accident on 20/10/1962, together with his teammate Lazarević. In their honor, Partizan Belgrade named their youth football school after them.
