His position was center-half and he hold (together with Vasović) last line in Partizan's team. In 1965/1966 season in ECC, all of his performances were on very high level. However, experts single out rematch against Manchester United in 1/2 Final as his flawless and greatest show in this season. Rašović played 10 games for Yugoslavian national team (from 1964 to 1967). In Partizan, he stayed for 5 years, played 210 games and scored 2 goals. In 1969 he moved to Borussia Dortmund and stayed there for 5 years, playing 109 games and scoring 4 goals. Rašović was solid as a rock, with excellent sense for defensive positioning. His aerial skills were superb (there weren't too many players in Europe, in those days, who could match him in that segment of the game). He had pretty good reading of the game and he was able to cover gaps in defence.
