Great goalscorer, excellent technical player with very good stamina. He could score from every angle, or change his mind and assist to a player in a better position. He could be found on every attacking position during the game, always trying to do what's best for the team. Many football experts said that he was the best European player in 1954/1955 season. Nándor Hidegkuti said that Vukas would always be in his Best 11 squad (he said that during the '50s). Raymond Kopa said that, for him and many other French players, Vukas is the best Yugoslavian footballer. Ernst Ocwirk admitted that, for him, Vukas is one of the hardest opponents in the World. He also said that it wouldn't be an exaggeration, if he claimed that Vukas is the best attacker of his time.
